Summer Rock Band Camps – Austin Guitar School

Now enrolling for our Summer Rock band camps!

Beginners 5 day Rock Camp (ages 8-12) $125.00

Monday – Friday 11am – 12pm

This camp is for the complete beginner with little or no playing experience, instruments are furnished 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸

Youths ages 8 – 12 play electric guitars, bass, keyboards, drums & also sing..

Students learn chords, riffs, beats, the names of notes, how to make easy loops to play classic rock & pop hits through the 1960’s-2025…

Camps meet Monday – Friday 11am – 12:00pm

June Camp dates :

Wk.1 June 2nd-6th. Wk.2 June 9th-13th

Wk.3 June 16th-20th Wk.4 June 23rd-27th

July Camp Dates:

Wk. 1 July 7th-11th. Wk. 2 July 14- July 18th

Wk. 3 July 21st-25th. Wk. 4 July 28th-Aug. 1st

August Camp Dates:

Wk 1. Aug. 4th-Aug. 8th

Wk. 2. Aug. 11th-Aug. 15th

Camp fee $125.00 per week per student.

Experienced player 5 day Rock camp (ages 10-17) $275.00

Monday – Friday 12:30pm – 3pm

This camp is for the experienced player ages 10-17..

Youths that play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and sing can come join the band.

Students can bring their own instruments..

Drums & PA sound system are furnished.

As a collective band students will find common songs to teach each other..

Learn how to build a song list and focus on proper practicing techniques.

Tuning up, setting your amps for a perfect mix, practice through each song together daily and perfect a short set.

Then the “band” plays a short Concert on the weekend Friday, Saturday or Sunday…

Date, time, location is set the week of each camp to coordinate family attending..
