Austin Guitar School offers many 4 week group classes
Beginning Acoustic Guitar Level 1
This class is for the complete beginner, no experience necessary.
Learn your Major & minor chords, basic strumming/counting, picking & finger warmups, how to read tabs & play power chords.
You can purchase any class below, contact us to reserve which month you would like to attend class.
Class meets for 4 weeks on Wednesday nights 6pm-6:45pm
Nov. 5th,12th,19th & 26th
Class meets for 4 weeks on Tuesday nights 6:30pm-7:15pm
Dec. 2nd,9th,16th & 23rd
Classes are 45 minutes each.
Class fee is $100.00 for all 4 weeks
Students that complete this 4 week class receive a voucher for
1 free – 30 guitar lesson.
Beginning Acoustic Guitar Level 2
This 4 week class will show how to learn songs from scratch..
The class covers basic song structure, ear training & time counting.
Picking out songs to learn, downloading chords & lyrics.
Learning chords, song parts, strumming & picking patterns.
Playing along with recorded songs following chords/lyric charts..

Electric Blues Guitar Improv for the beginning Blues player
This 4 week class is for Guitar players only 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸
1. This class teaches you barr chords using 7ths & 12 bar basic Blues progressionns.
2. Learn to play the minor pentatonic scale & make up phrases
3. Learn guitar techniques – vibrato, hammer ons, pull offs.
4. Learn how to bend notes on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd strings.
5. Class plays together on 12 bar Blues progressions & students take turns soloing making up their own solos.
Classes are 45 minutes each & meet on Tuesday nights 7pm-7:45pm
Class meets 4 weeks on Wednesday nights 6pm-6:45pm

4. Learn how to bend notes on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd strings..
Electric Blues Band workshop Level 1
Come join the band.
Experienced players with a Love for the Blues.
We have one opening for each of these instruments.
Electric Guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums & voice.
This weekly band workshop focuses on Rhythm basics playing 12 Bar Blues Classic songs in different keys, different tempos and different grooves.
The class plays through 12 bar shuffles & slow blues, swing, 12/8, funky 1/8 & 1/16 note grooves & Rumbas.
This 4 week class is on going.
Classes are 1 Hour each & meet on Monday nights 7pm-8pm
Class fee: $150.00 every 4 weeks
Students renew $ every 4 weeks to continue playing with the band..
Because its a band class there is no rescheduling or class makeups..
